In
business since 1987, here at Lake Tow we
specialize in the underwater recovery
of sunken boats through the use of the airbag buoyancy system. Our
salvage crews have certified scuba divers on hand to attach the air
buoyancy bags to the sunken boat. After attaching the buoyancy
bags, air is then slowly added to the bags by an air compressor located
on the surface. This method is much safer than other methods that are
used, such
as floating barrels. With barrels, the chances of causing the
boat further damage is more likely. Once the boat comes to the surface,
pumps are put in place to pump the boat out
of the water and onto a
boat trailer. The boat can then be transported to our shop for water
removal cleaning and
preservation of the engine.

Our tow boat is the most powerful towboat on Lake Norman. Boat
failure, engine failure, whatever the situation my be, we can
handle it. We are on call for emergencies 24 hours a day. |
